Montgomery House

In 2018, East Cambs CLT and local property developer Palace Green Homes, completed their first housing project in Ely. The development at King’s Row in Barton Road consists of six family townhouses and five flats, two of which are managed as affordable homes by the CLT. The beautifully constructed, high-quality, affordable flats designed by award-winning architects, HaysomWardMiller are now occupied by local residents.

East Cambs CLT recently purchased 15 properties intended to be open market homes; now CLT affordable homes the purchase will see an additional 7 three-bedroom houses and 8 two-bedroom maisonettes added to their existing property portfolio. These former MoD homes have been refurbished by local property developer, Palace Green Homes and are located in a desirable location adjacent to the Princess of Wales Hospital, Ely. The properties will be made available to buy as shared ownership -helping low to median-income families with strong local connections to East Cambridgeshire onto the first rung of the property ladder.
